OBJECTIVES
  • The company sought to replatform to a reliable ecommerce solution that could support an extensive catalog, easily integrate with their technology ecosystem, and grow along with their business needs.
SOLUTION
  • Implemented the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform and customized it with special features so the retailer can deliver an enhanced digital shopping experience to their B2C customers
  • Configured My Garage to allow registered customers to save motorbikes and find parts for them more quickly
  • Applied custom filter logic so customers can search for and purchase parts compatible with their motorbike based on its brand, engine type, model, and year
  • Integrated an ARINET API solution to help the retailer extend its vast catalog to include even more SKUs and allow customers to purchase parts by selecting the necessary part from the map
  • Configured dedicated PDPs for product packs, which are sets of products the retailer can set up with promotions and special prices
  • Enabled personalization features that allow customers to customize products and leverage a special discount if they choose to add the brand’s logo to the product
  • Implemented pre-order and back soon features, allowing clients to purchase a product that is not yet in stock or request to be notified when a product is back in stock
  • Implemented a custom logic that predicts the estimated shipping time based on product availability in the retailer’s main warehouse or the provider’s warehouse as well as time and day of order placement
  • Developed a custom B2B solution on Salesforce Commerce Cloud to help the retailer provide the same personalized shopping experience to their business buyers as their B2C online store
  • Customized the product listing page (PLP) to allow business buyers to place bulk orders and see prices without VAT
RESULTS
  • Thanks to OSF’s implementation, integration and customization work, the retailer now has a highly efficient and reliable ecommerce platform that can support hundreds of thousands of SKUs in the catalog.
  • The company now delivers the same level of personalized shopping experiences to its consumers and business customers.
