Québec City, Canada – January 28, 2021 – OSF Digital announced today that it has been selected by Lush Handmade Cosmetics Ltd. to provide ongoing support, maintenance and improvements to its mobile application. Lush manufactures and sells handmade vegetarian soaps, shampoos, fragrances, shower gels and skincare products. With 250 shops across North America alone, the global company operates in countries across Europe, South America, Asia and Australia.
To upgrade its mobile application, Lush wanted a new partner to manage its mobile app more efficiently and effectively. The cosmetic company needed faster responses to mobile issues and a partner that could work well with its in-house development team and provide open communication and transparency. The mobile application is available on both Android and iOS in Canada and the United States.
Lush selected OSF Digital for its experience and expertise in both mobile application development and Salesforce Commerce Cloud, which Lush uses for its commerce platform. OSF was recently recognized as a Salesforce Navigator Expert in B2C commerce, consumer goods and retail under the Salesforce partner program.
OSF will start by making necessary updates and improving the technology stack as needed to resolve Lush’s immediate mobile application issues. The team will also ensure that Lush’s iOS and Android apps have equal features and capabilities to provide the same user experience regardless of the operating system, adding new features to the app in the future.
With a higher quality mobile application, Lush expects to see an increase in revenue from its mobile app. The company’s marketing team also plans to use the mobile app as another channel to reach customers where they are.
