OSF Digital’s Salesforce Front End Developers are responsible for developing and customising front-end components for e-commerce websites using Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize front-end components for e-commerce websites using Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Implement responsive and user-friendly UI/UX designs, ensuring compatibility across multiple devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with backend developers, designers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality, scalable e-commerce solutions.
- Optimize performance and maintain code quality standards for scalability and maintainability.
- Integrate third-party APIs, tools, and libraries into the SFCC platform.
- Work with Business Managers to enhance and maintain the storefront configuration and functionalities.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve performance or integration issues.
- Stay updated with the latest SFCC updates, best practices, and frontend technologies.
Requirements:
Competencies:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Any DEV-oriented certification is an advantage
Skill Set:
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JQuery, JavaScript, and ES6+.
- Experience with SCSS/SASS and frontend frameworks like React or Vue.js is a plus.
- Understanding of developing for responsive designs - Understanding of architectural principles and coding patterns of Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA)
- Proficient knowledge & hands-on experience using ISMLs, SCSS, Bootstrap, and setting up Business Manager Configuration
- Deep understanding of how Order, Promotions, Price Books, Shipping methods, Site Preferences and Administration functions work in Business Manager
- Knowledge of SEO principles, WCAG accessibility standards, and performance optimization techniques.
- Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git). - Experience with build tools like Webpack, Grunt, or Gulp.
- Understand Import/Export of various objects in Business Manager.
