In 2000, Carol's Daughter changed the natural haircare world by being one of the first to sell their beauty recipes directly to their customers on CarolsDaughter.com. The Company was acquired by L'Oréal USA in 2014.

The company recognized that they required a more streamlined and cost-effective way to provide customers with a social sign-in option as well as to encourage social sharing. Their previous system relied on 3rd party software that was limited in functionality and wasn’t aligned with L’Oréal’s existing LORA ecommerce platform – the customized version of Salesforce Commerce Cloud that OSF developed. OSF worked on improvements to the Carol’s Daughter website to ensure increased performance.

Additionally, OSF implemented many 3rd party software solutions to enhance and improve the checkout experience on the Carol’s Daughter website including: integrating OMS for PFS, PFS Inventory import, PFS pricebook import, PFS catalog import, PFS Order export, address validation provider, tax provider, replacing Paymetric with Cybersource for payment processing of credit cards, switching PayPal integration to direct, gift wrapping, 3rd day shipping and more.
