OSF Digital’s Salesforce Developers will work closely with the teams in Philippines and ANZ and are responsible for the design, coding, testing and implementation of Salesforce solutions to meet OSF Digital's client objectives. Support and maintenance of existing solutions will also be required within the scope of the role.

Salesforce Developers will be participating across the entire development lifecycle from planning through to maintenance with strong practical experience across a range of technologies. Ability to deliver customisation using Apex, Visualforce, Aura and LWC is essential, and knowledge of other coding languages (e.g., JavaScript) is helpful. Salesforce Developers will work closely with clients and OSF Digital’s Salesforce Consultants to understand requirements and deliver high quality solutions using Salesforce best practices.

It is expected that the Salesforce Developer will work with OSF Digital to help develop and maintain methodologies, tools and best practices to ensure high quality, repeatable processes for the delivery of Salesforce consulting services. A Salesforce Developer should understand the basic principles of business software design and customer relationship management.

Responsibilities include:

  • Provide Salesforce Development consulting across projects within the OSF Digital’s client base; 
  • Support existing Salesforce client solutions and provide development consulting for enhancements and defects as required; 
  • Document and develop code according to specifications, quality standards and adhering to appropriate best practices; 
  • Prepare test data and conduct unit testing; 
  • Provide support for quality assurance testing and defect resolution; 
  • Participate in project team meetings and communicate effectively with team members and clients; 
  • Provide development capability in line with internal project requirements; 
  • Manage expectations whilst accurately estimating work; 
  • Work with OSF’s delivery managers to escalate and resolve issues to achieve client satisfaction;  
  • Identify and raise risks, assumptions and constraints in timely fashion to the appropriate stakeholders whilst actively working to provide remediation;

Requirements:

About you:

  • 3+ years Salesforce development experience in line with core capabilities;  
  • Development background in CRM implementations with Apex, Visualforce, Aura, LWC, Web services and API integration, managed packages, knowledge of Salesforce limitations, best practices;  
  • Sound understanding of Salesforce declarative capabilities; 
  • An understanding of CRM and / or eCommerce is preferable; 
  • B2B Commerce or Omnistudio experience would be ideal
  • Demonstrated experience in Salesforce project delivery; 
  • Strong business and technology acumen with commercial awareness; 
  • Flexible and able to apply expertise appropriately in a variety of settings; 
  • Focused on achieving quality outcomes with high levels of initiative and drive; 
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and work comfortably with uncertainty. Uses active listening to provide clarity and solve the right problems; 
  • An independent thinker, able to solve problems effectively and efficiently; 
  • Focus on customer success while executing and delivering with attention to detail; 
  • Prioritisation and ability to provide oversight and engagement across multiple projects;

Education / Certifications:

Certified in one or more of the following: Salesforce Administrator (ADM201), Salesforce Platform App Builder, Salesforce Platform Developer 1, Salesforce Platform Developer 2, Salesforce.com Sales Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant.
