OSF Digital Continues Re-Platforming Projects for L’Oreal Canada with Delivery of Shu Uemura

Core-cartridge and repeatable engineering enable OSF to complete redesigned Shu Uemura online store

IT professional services provider OSF Digital announced today the delivery of a redesigned and re-platformed online store for L’Oreal Canada brand Shu Uemura. The maker of high-end cosmetics, hair products and beauty accessories is the second L’Oreal Canada brand to work with OSF for their migration to the robust, cloud-based Demandware® Commerce platform. The site offers a truly unique shopping experience thanks to responsive design, a custom make-up palette tool, and a redesigned user interface.

L’Oreal Canada turned to OSF after successfully completing projects for luxury skin-care brand Biotherm, this time tackling all-new features and functionality for Shu Uemura’s online store. Drawing on their experiences with Biotherm, OSF based the Shu Uemura site on the same core-cartridge, giving L’Oreal Canada a repeatable common structure to make future implementations quick and easy. This process allowed OSF to deliver the completed online store in three months and on a smaller budget.
