Québec City, Canada – November 27, 2019 – OSF Digital announces the launch of British lighting manufacturer Original BTC’s new website designed to accelerate the company’s ability to showcase, sell and provide service for its luxury lighting products to both B2C and B2B customers.
Original BTC’s initial ecommerce store was not designed to serve the specific needs of its business customers. The company’s B2B business represented a more significant portion of its revenue-generating capabilities, so it became increasingly important to provide these customers with the ability to shop online to help Original BTC grow.
OSF Digital implemented Salesforce B2B Commerce and integrated this with Original BTC’s existing Salesforce Sales Cloud environment. OSF also added an integration of SagePay and SagePayments, Original BTC’s existing payment solution. The work performed by OSF ensures that all data from opportunities and sales orders is automatically transferred into Sales Cloud. Original BTC now has a single view of all customer data and transaction history making it easier to deliver service in an efficient and meaningful way.
The company’s business customers are now able to independently support themselves thanks to the website’s new self-service capabilities. Business customers can place orders, obtain quotes, and manage their accounts from this new, visually enticing site. Original BTC has reduced the internal overhead it required to manage sales enquiries and orders. The lighting manufacturer has also seen an increase in the number of orders and average order value per client.
Thanks to OSF Digital, the lighting manufacturer now has a dynamic new site with a rich interface that showcases the high quality, luxury products Original BTC is known for. The website breaks the mold for what’s traditionally seen in the B2B commerce space and provides ‘B2C style’ interface and functions to meet the expectations of both consumer and business customers. The simple to use interface allows for easy merchandising and quick content loading. The display of different product options and prices for specific countries is possible, and the site supports multiple currencies and languages. Orders and purchases can now be made 24/7, the new website presents advanced and account-specific price lists. This allows the company to offer contract-specific discounts, handle logged in and anonymous users, as well as business and consumer customers using one platform.
