London, UK – May 24th, 2019 – OSF Digital today announces the acquisition of award-winning UK eCommerce agency Blueleaf - whose clients include Laura Ashley, Life Style Sports, Tate Modern and V&A Museum – as part of its strategy to build a significant presence in the UK.
Founded in 1999, with offices in the UK and Bulgaria, Blueleaf provides top retailers and brands with planning, UX, development and support for complex projects built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud, one of the world’s leading eCommerce solutions. Since 2014, Blueleaf has been working with growth and rel="noopener noreferrer" M&A advisory firm, Waypoint Partners, which has advised the company on how to scale its business and prepare itself for major investment.
Following the acquisition, Blueleaf will become OSF Digital UK, giving the Canadian company an established delivery center in the UK to help grow its client base in the market. Blueleaf’s existing retail clients will now have access to OSF Digital ’s global network of 32 locations, as well as its extensive suite of multi-cloud, B2B and B2C commerce solutions.
Blueleaf’s acquisition follows a $23M USD equity investment OSF Digital announced earlier in May led by Delta-v Capital with participation from Salesforce Ventures, Salesforce’s corporate investment arm. The increased capital will help OSF to attract additional talent, invest in AI-based technologies and finance complementary acquisitions around the world.
“Our team is delighted to welcome Blueleaf to the OSF family,” said Gerry Szatvanyi, CEO of OSF Digital . “This acquisition will help our company to deliver exceptional service to our valued clients and fulfill their desire for transformative digital commerce experiences. As OSF continues to make bold moves in the commerce industry, we are continuing to increase our capacity to deliver complex projects for brands who are driven towards growth on a global scale.
“Blueleaf shares OSF’s mission to assist retailers and brands with their aspirations towards fusing creativity and technology in a way that generates results and engages and captivates shoppers,” said Adrian Lomas, Founder and CEO of Blueleaf. “We’re excited to join OSF as it’s a company that is constantly innovating and has made a considerable impact on how digital commerce is conducted on a global scale.”
Commenting on Blueleaf’s acquisition, Miles Welch, Partner at Waypoint Partners, said, “Blueleaf has managed to build a world-beating Salesforce advisory business with great execution capability, unrivaled in the UK market. With OSF Digital ’s international footprint and its complementary expertise and solutions, this will make for a winning combination. We’re proud to have been involved in Blueleaf’s impressive growth journey.”
