  • Define and maintain the architectural frameworks/patterns, processes, standards, and guidelines related to systems, business, or data architecture.
  • Translate business requirements into system qualities and repeatable design strategies and patterns, such as adaptability, scalability, availability, and security.
  • Lead and guide the technical team in the development of project architectures, ensuring consistency with the initial design.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods.
  • Oversee progress of the development team to ensure consistency with initial design and adherence to architectural standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to software development teams.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide critical guidance in system design and troubleshooting.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and new design approaches; provide guidance on their adoption within the organization.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other staff members to develop budgets and timelines for solutions.
  • Assess the business impact that certain technical choices may have on a client's business processes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of developers and architects, providing guidance and support to ensure effective solution delivery.
  • Facilitate team meetings and ensure clear communication of project goals and progress.
  • Coordinate team efforts to align with project timelines and business objectives.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Offer career guidance and support professional development for direct reports, helping them achieve their career goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect or in a similar role, with a strong background in the Salesforce Core Platform, including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing complex, scalable software solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Holds relevant Salesforce certifications, such as Certified Application Architect or Certified System Architect, with a strong preference for those progressing toward or holding the Certified Technical Architect (CTA) credential.
  • Strong understanding of architectural design principles, integration patterns, and Salesforce best practices, with a particular focus on scalable and maintainable solutions across Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  • Proficiency in software engineering tools and the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from requirements gathering and solution design to testing, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Adept at translating complex business requirements into technical specifications and high-quality solution designs that support core sales and service operations.
  • Ability to produce clear, comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, system architecture diagrams, and process flows.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to guide, mentor, and support development teams through project delivery and architectural decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical teams to ensure alignment and shared understanding of solution goals.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, particularly in leveraging Sales Cloud and Service Cloud to drive business value, enhance user experience, and optimize CRM processes.
  • English fluency.
