The Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing solutions within a platform that allows for robust configuration options without the need for extensive coding. This role requires a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities and the ability to leverage its configuration tools to meet business requirements effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and design scalable, high-performance SFCC solutions that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Conduct workshops, meetings to gather and document client requirements.
- Lead technical discussions and decision-making processes to resolve complex issues.
- Design and oversee the integration of SFCC with third-party systems and services, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
- Customize SFCC features to meet specific client needs and enhance user experience.
- Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and security.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural standards.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with both Japanese and English-speaking stakeholders, including clients, and team members.
Skills Required
- Proficient in SFCC development, including solution design, customization, and integration.
- Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Strong analytical skills to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
- Proactive in addressing potential challenges and mitigating risks.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and objectives.
- Ability to lead development teams and mentor junior developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Fluent in both Japanese and English, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in both languages.
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Certifications related to the specific platform(s) of expertise (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, ServiceNow System Administrator).
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management practices.
