As a Salesforce Field Service Lightning (FSL) Solution Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust FSL solutions that integrate seamlessly with Salesforce Service Cloud. You will leverage your expertise to guide clients through the architecture and deployment of FSL solutions, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Architect and design comprehensive FSL solutions that leverage core features such as asset management, mobile functionality, work order management, scheduling, and dispatching.
  • Integrate FSL with Salesforce Service Cloud to provide a seamless customer service experience.
  • Utilize FSL capabilities like mobile workforce management, service appointment optimization, contracts, entitlements, and warranties and real-time tracking to enhance field operations.
  • Design solutions that incorporate FSL’s asset and inventory management features to ensure efficient resource allocation.
  • Customize FSL solutions using Salesforce tools and Flows to meet specific client needs, and quickly adapt to new business requirements and project needs, contributing to testing efforts from day one.
  • Implement FSL’s advanced scheduling capabilities, such as skill-based routing and territory management, to optimize field service delivery.
  • Lead the technical design and implementation of FSL solutions, ensuring alignment with client business processes and objectives.
  • Provide guidance on the use of FSL’s mobile app features, enabling field technicians to access job details, update work orders, and capture customer signatures on-site.
  • Develop and maintain best practices for FSL deployment, including data migration strategies and integration patterns, ensuring that the solutions are effectively tested to meet operational objectives.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications for FSL solutions.
  • Demonstrate FSL capabilities to clients, showcasing how features like service report generation and customer communication tools can enhance service delivery.
  • Provide training and support to clients on FSL functionalities, ensuring they can effectively manage and optimize their field service operations.
  • Stay updated on the latest FSL features and enhancements, incorporating them into solution designs to drive continuous improvement.
  • Explore opportunities to integrate FSL with emerging technologies, such as IoT and AI, to deliver innovative field service solutions.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience working on the Salesforce FSL platform as a consultant or Solution Architect.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst within a consulting environment, with a focus on building/testing Salesforce Field Service Cloud, or related Salesforce applications.
  • Experience with setting up FSL data model (Work Orders, Service Appointments, Service Resources, Territories, etc.)
  • Ability to configure Service Rules and Objectives in support of Field Service business processes
  • Experience with enterprise-level Field Service Management systems.
  • Hands-on experience in configuration of flows, Lightning record pages, object data model etc.. Creating test scripts, performing system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Certifications: Salesforce Administrator Certification, Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant Certification, Salesforce Field Service Lightning Consultant Certification and Advanced Field Service Accredited Professional.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexible and open-minded with a willingness to adapt to change.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce.com capabilities (both functional and technical) and integration capabilities.
  • Thorough understanding of field service practices and KPIs.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to OSF Digital. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role. In California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, Nevada, Rhode Island, and Vermont, the standard base pay range for this role is $150,000-200,000 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, Nevada, Rhode Island, and Vermont and may not be applicable to other locations. In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for competitive benefits, individual and team performance awards, others. Actual amounts will vary depending on overall profile, experience, and location.
