Life Style Sports

Life Style Sports is Ireland’s leading sportswear retailer with 53 stores across the country and over 35 years history. The brand was on the ageing Venda platform, which was no longer able to support their ambitious plans for growth. With the move from Venda, Life Style Sports also needed to migrate their in-store tablets to Commerce Cloud’s Endless Aisle solution. The retailer turned to Blueleaf, an OSF Digital company, to assist them in achieving these goals.

OSF performed a complete Salesforce Commerce Cloud replatform including the implementation of a bespoke front end based on Site Genesis for speed and efficiency and Einstein recommendations to ensure customers are always shown relevant products in their shopping journey. OSF also set the stage for jersey personalization, allowing customers to add their chosen name to the back of a sports jersey.

Order management functionality was provided via Customer Service Center (SCS) customisations inside the Business Manager, allowing for order cancellations, returns and refunds directly back to their payment provider, Adyen. All orders can now be managed through CSC, without having to change their backend processes. OSF added a new payment method enabling payment devices to be attached to their large in-store kiosks for an entirely self-service in-store experience.

THE POWER OF IN-STORE TABLETS

OSF Digital migrated Life Style Sport’s in-store tablets to Commerce Cloud’s Endless Aisle solution. These 100 iPads are used by sales assistants to help customers place orders for items that may be out of stock in-store.

Store staff are delighted by the Endless Aisle solution as it now offers them new functionality such as basket recovery, customer lookup, order history and account creation, all enhancing customer experience and their ability to sell. The brand’s full catalogue is now available in every store and reuses the sorting rules from the ecommerce site for categories, meaning that merchandising can be done in a single place by Life Style Sports’ teams.
