A Business Analyst plays a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that strategic objectives are translated into clear, actionable requirements. This professional collaborates closely with stakeholders across the organization to analyze processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and support the development of efficient, compliant, and data‑driven solutions. By combining strong analytical capabilities with effective communication and problem‑solving skills, the Business Analyst helps drive operational excellence and supports informed decision‑making throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Analysis: Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for financial projects, ensuring proposed solutions meet stakeholder needs.
  • Solution Development: Collaborate with IT and other departments to develop solutions that improve financial processes and support business objectives.
  • Project Management: Participate in project planning and execution, monitoring progress to ensure deadlines and budgets are met.
  • Data Analysis: Conduct financial data analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate effective communication between stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements.
  • Compliance and Regulation: Ensure proposed solutions comply with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • Reporting: Develop detailed reports to support strategic decision‑making with data‑driven insights.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize existing processes, increasing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Implementation Support: Oversee the implementation of new solutions, ensuring business requirements are met and end‑users receive proper training.

Requirements:

  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous documentation and analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Financial Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of financial products, services, and regulations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data analysis tools and software such as Excel, SQL, or BI tools.
  • Project Management: Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
  • English C1 Level.
  • Native Portuguese.
