Global Technology Company Expands Further into Asian Pacific Marketplace

Québec City, Canada – January 31, 2018 – OSF Digital announced today that it has signed a joint venture agreement with IT consulting firm RCI Asia Pacific. This deal will boost OSF’s existing omnichannel capabilities and establish an increased local presence for the company within this region.
The partnership between the two companies began in January 2017 when RCI Asia Pacific joined OSF Global Partner Alliance. One year later, this relationship has transformed into a joint venture with the resulting entity now referred to as OSF APAC. OSF Digital will add to its existing teams in Asia with this deal and will gain access to the personnel, infrastructure, OMS and POS capabilities of RCI Asia Pacific. RCI Asia Pacific’s offices in Hong Kong, Cambodia, China and Korea will now serve as OSF APAC offices, and will join OSF’s existing team.
Leveraging the proven methodologies, training and processes that are at the core of both companies, OSF plans to increase the number of omnichannel projects it delivers for the Asia Pacific region. It will help APAC-based brands grow into new areas of operation and assist businesses from EMEA or the Americas who are looking to expand their sales to include the Asian Pacific marketplace. OSF will continue its focus on using the Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform as a solid and robust technology solution for ecommerce development.
“We have been steadily increasing our presence in this market as it represents a huge opportunity for global brands who are looking to participate at a larger scale.” says Gerry Szatvanyi, CEO of OSF Digital. “With this joint venture, OSF will be leaping ahead at a faster pace due to the skills, knowledge and capabilities RCI Asia Pacific bring to our existing operations. Our ability to deliver robust ecommerce and omnichannel solutions for our clients will be expanded greatly.”
Jean Luc Lim, CEO of RCI Asia Pacific said, “Our team is excited about the future and anticipate that OSF APAC will provide solid contributions to the growth and expansion of the ecommerce industry in the Asian Pacific market.” He added, This joint venture is based on a year of partnership, and the work we’ve already collaborated on is proof that our combined knowledge and resources will offer a solid option for businesses seeking a skilled and experienced company to rely on.“
