As a Technical Architect (m/w/d) you are part of our agile software development team and responsible shaping a technical project vision with the team. In doing so, you are the team-wide contact person and design the overall architecture in consultation with all relevant stakeholders. You work with the latest technologies and bring your own ideas along. Technical Architects don’t work exclusively in concept but are happy to jump in and support the whole team in their area of focus where a need for this exist. What counts for a Technical Architect is that the clients understand the process, service and product they received. This is achieved by breaking complex problems down into simple language and demonstrating an understanding of current and future risks in each project.
As a technical architect (m/f/d) you design, describe, and maintain software architecture of the project with our team. Working in consultation with relevant stakeholders, you develop the requirements and determine how these are implemented in the software architecture. In addition to the standard development, you look after the development team in their work. You create the documentation of the software architecture and evaluate the selected architecture as well as the design in terms of functionality, performance, quality and timing. In this way you are a proactive part of our agile, team-centric development process, bring in your own experiences and identify risks and opportunities. When any part of the team struggles you jump into to help find the solution. You are also responsible for advancing and driving the evolution of our internal frameworks, software engineering guidelines, and best practices. Finally, you represent the highest level of technical understanding to our clients, helping them to understand the full scope of the project and potential present and future risks.
You demonstrate quick comprehension, strong commitment, curiosity and an ability to familiarize yourself with new, complex issues which will lead to a successful integration in our development team. You already have professional experience in various IT projects of different size and think analytically as well as abstractly. You accept new professional and methodical challenges openly and flexibly. You'll also be able to evaluate solutions for optimal decision-making. You bring a high level of social skills; you like to work in a team and at the same time own your areas of responsibility. You like to think outside the box, and you are interested in a networked world that makes things much easier and safer.

Please note...This job is in Berlin, Germany. You need a valid working permit for the European Union and be able to work on-site in order to be considered. Unfortunately, we can’t assist you in getting a working permit or in finding accommodation for the time being.
