We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Consultant with expertise in Order Management System (OMS) to join our team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between client business processes and Salesforce OMS solutions, ensuring seamless integration, scalability, and adoption. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge in retail and supply chain, combined with technical leadership skills to guide teams and clients through enterprise transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Possess domain knowledge in retail and supply chain spheres to advise clients on best practices. 
  • Stay up to date with the newest OMS features, ensuring released functionalities work as advertised. 
  • Analyze clients’ existing technology landscapes and recommend tailored OMS solutions. 
  • Provide technical guidance to project delivery teams, product engineering teams, and clients. 
  • Take ownership of technical escalations, managing all technical aspects throughout the client lifecycle. 
  • Craft architecture vision and roadmaps to drive enterprise transformation. 
  • Create detailed architecture recommendations for integrations, API/microservices enablement, and cloud migration. 
  • Mentor and guide project delivery and engineering resources. 
  • Develop interface documents and mappings to ensure proper OMS integration. 
  • Define software development plans with a focus on quality and delivery efficiency. 
  • Participate in design reviews with clients and project teams. 
  • Manage development plans, including skills, resources, and training requirements. 
  • Conduct workshops with customer teams to gather requirements and define end-to-end solution architecture. 
  • Collaborate with technical experts during implementation to develop solution and functional design documents. 
  • Advise customers on supply chain best practices, aligning processes closely with OMS products to minimize customization. 

Requirements & Competencies:

  • Ability to analyze business requirements and determine potential solutions for technical and business compatibility. 
  • Provide guidance and articulate improvements to current business processes. 
  • Present multiple creative approaches to solve business needs. 
  • Perform demonstrations of solutions to clients. 
  • Participate in pre-sales and implementation processes, driving projects from design through deployment. 
  • Develop feasibility reports and present solutions to customers. 
  • Support prioritization of features, define project scope, and identify risks.

Skill Set:

  • Previous experience working with Salesforce Order Management System (OMS), either platform or integrations. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. 
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a technical consultant or lead architect in supply chain system implementations or integrations. 
  • Demonstrated experience in the retail industry, with exposure to OMS, order fulfillment, and order management. 
  • Strong plus: experience with Salesforce Service Cloud and/or Salesforce Commerce Cloud. 
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. 
  • Fluency in English.
