As QA Manager you’ll be integrated into the team and trusted with responsibility from your very first day. You’ll be responsible for the creation and extension of test processes in our projects, especially for test automation.

QA Managers create test cases with our clients for cloud-based web shops in Salesforce Commerce cloud and then execute these tests. To do this, QA managers are in continuous close contact with the product owners, project manager and client-side testers. Additionally, they have to be able to quickly and accurately understand the needs and processes of our clients. Besides test creation and execution, they will also support the introduction of test automation.

In their daily work, QA Managers inform and advise our clients in test automation, develop test plans and execute these.

For every release, QA managers execute tests. In doing so they ensure that all regression tests are successful and appropriate tests are built and executed for new functions.

The results of tests are then discussed with the developers and communicated with the client where appropriate. By doing this QA Managers support our clients in release decisions and our developers as a QA and testing mentor.

For this position you should have a solid understanding of software testing, for example by having an ISTQB qualification.

Specifically, your tasks are:

  • Execution and planning of tests
  • Support in the introduction of test automation
  • Quality assurance of modern web applications based on Salesforce
  • Testing of Releases
  • Execution of regression tests
  • Development and execution of tests for new functions
  • Coordination and communication of test results with the internal team and clients
  • Mentoring Developers in terms of QA and testing

Requirements:

As a successful QA Manager, you have the ability to quickly put yourself into the position of the customer in order to fully understand each individual requirement. You work closely with the various teams to assure a high level of quality. In addition to your self-responsible, structured and conscientious way of working, you have the following knowledge and experience:

  • Relevant Certifications (e.g. ISTQB® Certified Tester) and multi-year experience in software testing
  • Agile development is a standard for you, and you have experience with Scrum and Kanban
  • Experience with Test automation, e.g. Selenium
  • Working independently is a given for you
  • Solid German and English skills, both oral and written
  • TestRail experience, ideally in Jira
  • Ideally some Salesforce experience

Beyond this, you are known for your team and customer-oriented way of working and can successfully apply your initiative and excellent communication skills in a project team.
