Responsibilities:

  • Shadow a more experienced Project Manager in coordinating and managing the project from inception to completion;
  • Carry out daily operational tasks in an effective and timely manner;
  • Track and directly report project status update;
  • Analyze status reports to proactively identify problem areas and propose mitigation actions to keep budget and scope on track;
  • Constantly communicate with the team to quickly identify critical issues and raise risks to the main project manager/delivery director;
  • Document Change Orders and follow thoroughly with Change Management activities;
  • Help problem-solve issues and suggest ways to improve the project;
  • Organize, file, and maintain all current project documents;
  • Assist with team training, and performance management;
  • Identify tools and drive adoption for tools that might boost efficiency in delivery;
  • Schedule team meetings and act like a scrum master;
  • Work closely with team leads to assign tasks to the development team;
  • Maintain a positive communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Project Coordinator, Project Assistant, PMO Associate, PMO Officer, PMO Coordinator or PMO Assistant or Project Management or Data Analyst exposure would be beneficial;
  • Previous experience in software project management is considered a plus;
  • Previous relevant experience with web programming languages/technologies is considered a plus;
  • Capacity to learn constantly and find solutions and workarounds;
  • Open to work remotely and manage distributed teams;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – interaction with senior stakeholders will be part of the role;
  • Very good competency with standard software (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project);
  • Ability to work to a high standard of accuracy in a time pressured environment;
  • Quality focused;
  • Fluency in English.
